Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway cut off Martin Lewis in dramatic fashion on today's (March 14) episode... to give a rather pointless Brexit update.
Yup, the show's Brexit countdown clock was about to reach a nice symmetrical number, and we could not miss the moment.
Martin was talking about cash ISAs when Kate interjected that the show's clock was about to hit 15 days, 15 hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds.
"I approve of the mathematical symmetry, I always like those things," Martin declared, though Susanna Reid noted: "There's nothing significant to that number, it just looks pretty."
However, as the clock hit the obviously very important milestone, Kate joked that it was counting down "to something that isn't going to happen".
After telling an anecdote about someone's walking steps target, Martin was clearly eager to continue his segment, telling the presenter: "Shall we carry on with the cash ISA?"
That wasn't the only thing that Brexit has interrupted this week, as Holby City was pushed back a week from its scheduled broadcast over Theresa May's vote on her withdrawal deal on Tuesday (March 12).
So fans will now get two episodes next week to make up for it, with the missed episode airing on Tuesday (March 19) at 8pm followed by the next episode the following night (Wednesday, March 20).
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
